Sihlquai253 — Discourse

Sihlquai253 – Discourse / Auction / Performance is an independent, roaming platform for Zurich’s art scene. Every last Thursday of the month, around 20 artists and people interested in art come together at a different place.

The setting is radically low-threshold: whoever stands behind their own work and is ready to face the audience’s questions is in. From this simple principle an extremely diverse place grows organically – without quotas or imposed concepts.

Sihlquai253 sees itself as an open microcosm: mobile, uncomplicated and carried by the people who fill the room anew every month.
